What is a control plan?
A control plan is a detailed list of what should be checked during the construction process. It describes:

When is a Control Plan Needed?
A control plan is required for most construction, demolition and land activities that are subject to permit or notification requirements. Examples:
New construction, such as a townhouse.
Reconstruction or alterations to a building.
Demolition work, especially with hazardous waste.
Earthworks and installation of fireplaces.
In some simpler cases, such as the construction of a carport or minor facade changes, the building committee may decide that a control plan is not needed.
How do you create a control plan?
