APPLICATION

An application must be made initially for a new project. Here you describe the matter and notify the developer or possibly the inspector

DECISION

The municipality reviews the case, then gives a decision on what will be required to get a start notice, exempt from planning permission or not.

BUILDING PERMIT DRAWING

The municipality requires building permit drawings for the application. This usually happens when it comes to changes that are visible from the outside. An insight into the detailed plan must be done to get a comprehensive picture of the possibilities regarding the area.

APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT

The municipality has approved the building permit, this does not mean that you can start construction in most cases.

BYGGANMÄLAN

At this stage, the technical documents must be produced. In some projects, they can only be relevant with a building notification, if it concerns changes indoors. Such projects can be applications for the demolition of a load-bearing wall, a new fireplace, additional building or shelter

TECHNICAL CONSULTATION

This is a formal meeting where a review of technical documents is made as well as demanding documents. Then the municipality's building inspector and possibly the inspector/builder participate.

START NOTICE

The municipality has now reviewed all documents for the project and approved that construction can begin

BUILDING

During construction, everything should be documented with photos and the like. When it is time to start construction, it must be ensured that the construction documents are stamped as construction documents.

FINAL CONSULTATION

It is a formal meeting held towards the end of a project or process. The purpose is to summarize the results and update the documentation according to how the building was constructed. This is the step before final decision or interim decision.

FINAL NOTICE

The building board gives a final notice when you have shown that all requirements have been met and the board has found no reason to intervene. You may not start using what you have built until you have received a final notice.
