A moisture safety description, also called a moisture protection description, is a document used in the construction industry to ensure that buildings and constructions are protected against moisture-related problems. Regulations that refer to moisture planning

The moisture safety description is mainly handled under section 6 of the Swedish Housing Authority's building regulations (BBR), which deals with hygiene, health and the environment. More specifically, it is chapter 6:5 of the BBR that deals with moisture, with detailed requirements and guidelines for how buildings must be protected against moisture to ensure a good indoor environment and the building's durability.
